A10 Boot from FPGA (SD-Card / Shared-IO)

Hello everyone!

Because of our design contraints the HPS has a connection to the SD-Card controller using the Shared IO block. Is it possible to boot the HPS from this SD card? Does it “see” the shared IO SD-Card controller the same way as if it would be its own dedicated controller?

In QSYS I did the following: Boot-Selection: FPGA --> Boot From SD-Card (external Transceiver)

The FPGA Will get configured fully though its EPCQ memory or JTAG. Will the HPS boot from the SD card, when I release the HPS reset at this point? Is there any special U-Boot source modification needed?

Martin

Hi Martin,
I am also facing the same issue.
Did you get any solution for this?
