By any chance have you managed to compile/use perf within the angstrom image provided with the GSRDs ?
I did once a long time ago. Are you having a technical issue?
Yes. I have been able to compile with minimum support (only glibc) it an run it, but I don’t get most of the debug symbols in my code, hence it is a bit un-readable. This made me want to try and compile perf with a couple of extra libraries, at least with dwarf, but I did fail on this front. I have started a post to document my steps here: Linux Perf on linux-altera-ltsi
