The current TSE MAC driver that is part of linux 4.1.33-ltsi supports only copper, but is able to handle the 88E1111 PHY. The 88E1512 we are using has the same copper register structure as the 88E1111 since they are both Alaska series parts from Marvell. I wonder if we just manually flip the page to fiber and the PHY would work.
I would like to know if anyone has updated the PHY driver in the TSE for the newest Marvell 3.4 Alaska driver version (which has fiber support). I would like to find out if anybody has gotten the 88E1512 to work the TSE in Fiber mode.
