For projects which involve FPGA design using the Quartus tools, which version of preloader and U-Boot is preferred to use? The “official” version which is bundled with the Quartus/EDS toolchain, or the versions which are published on github, such as this:
What is the difference? Except newer versions than the other. Are there any difference in support? E.g. if we are completely stuck on something then Altera will only offer support on the “official”?
